 S.T.E.A.M. activities in the library allow students to explore and experiment.  They promote creativity and problem-solving. All students who are caught up with school assignments are encouraged to use our S.T.E.A.M. resources online as well as from the S.T.E.A.M./Maker Space bookcases.

Learn to code using Scratch.  With Scratch, you can program you own interactive stories, games, & animations -- and share your creations with others in the online community. Created and hosted by M.I.T.

 "Project Euler.net" 
Project Euler is a series of challenging mathematical/computer programming problems that will require more than just mathematical insights to solve. Although mathematics will help you arrive at elegant and efficient methods, the use of a computer and programming skills will be required to solve most problems.

Freerice is an educational trivia game that helps you get smarter while making a difference for people around the world. Every question you answer correctly raises 10 grains of rice for the World Food Programme (WFP) to support its work saving and changing lives around the world.

There are a lot of subject options. My personal favorite is "vocabulary." Challenge your friends and teachers!

Free online typing class. See Ms. Westgate to be enrolled.
It will keep track of your lessons and progress.

Save the design with your last name before you print. I will check the design for appropriateness before giving you the button materials.

Students can print one button per week for free. Additional buttons for students or for clubs, teams, etc. can be purchased for 15 cents each.
