Parents/Guardians:
1.) Thanks to federal financial support, we are providing weekend meals to all students in Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12! This will consist of 2 kid-friendly breakfasts and 2 kid-friendly lunches. You do not have to do anything further to receive these meals. On the last day of school each week students will be grabbing the meals as they leave the building. We hope your child will enjoy these meals. Please call 775-9154 if you have any questions.
2.) SV Free meals program to continue through 20-21 School Year!
Susquehanna Valley Central School District administration, local health authorities, and the Broome-Tioga BOCES "Rock On Cafe" Food Services division have put together a comprehensive plan effective through the end of the year that will guarantee breakfast and lunch free of charge for all students, whether learning in person or remotely! THIS LETTER from our Food Service Director Mark Bordeau has all the details. Please read it carefully and reach out with any questions you may have. 3.) In an effort to allow teachers to continue to deliver the best education and instruction to your children, and in the absence of time in their work day to collaborate effectively due to the structure of the school day with COVID-19 protocols, we have scheduled these days as early release days for students: Thursday, February 11, Friday, March 19, and Thursday, April 1. Students in grades 4-12 who attend on the secondary campus will be dismissed at 11:00 a.m. Students in Pre-K through grade 3 who attend at Brookside and F.P. Donnelly will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m. All students will have the opportunity to pick up a bag lunch before going home for the day. As always, thank you for your continuous support and partnership!
