2024-2025 UPK and Kindergarten Registration
Process and Timeline
Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK)
UPK registration is for children who will become four (4) years of age on or before December 1, 2024. UPK registration will take place from March 4 – March 24, 2024. Registration is open each school day, 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the District Office. If you need a time outside of normal registration hours, please contact the district office at 607-775-0175 to make arrangements. Registration requirements and documentation can be found below.
Susquehanna Valley’s UPK Program consists of two classrooms at Brookside Elementary School and two classrooms at Francis P. Donnelly Elementary School, for a total of 72 available slots. Each class is limited to 18 students. If more students register for UPK than we have available slots, we will use a lottery process to determine which students are able to enroll in our UPK program, and the remaining registrants will be placed on a waiting list. Lottery selection will take place in April and parents will be notified of their child’s status including building assignment. Please note that we cannot guarantee your request for building assignment.
Kindergarten
Kindergarten registration is an ongoing process that begins on March 4, 2024. Kindergarten registration is for children who will become five (5) years of age on or before December 1, 2024. Registration is open each school day, 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the District Office. If you need a time outside of normal registration hours, please contact the district office at 607-775-0175 to make arrangements. Kindergarten screenings will take place in May. Registration requirements and documentation can be found below.
Please note that if your child is currently enrolled in the SVCSD UPK program there is no need to register for kindergarten.
