F.P. Donnelly welcomes Lockheed Martin crew for STEM Day

At Susquehanna Valley, we continue to focus a great deal on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) curriculum, and are delighted when we're able to welcome visitors in STEM-related careers to share some real world experience and training to enhance what we offer to our students. On Friday, November 18, 4th and 5th grade students at Francis P. Donnelly got to spend the day with a team from Lockheed Martin, using a variety of STEM skills to build LEGO robots. The best part: the students learned not only how to BUILD the robots, but how to program them to actually MOVE! FPD teacher Scott Allen and Lockheed Martin's Racheal Pound were kind enough to share their STEM DAY PHOTOS!
