SV High inducts new members into National Honor Society

The Susquehanna Valley High School Chapter of National Honor Society has 47 new members, following a well-attended November 17 induction ceremony in the high school auditorium. The ceremony featured the traditional candle-lighting, bestowing of pins, and recitation of the NHS pledge. Handling master of ceremony duties was Chapter President Justin Pencek, along with Vice-President Cassandra Crisman, Secretary Corinne Zarrelli and Treasurer Sophie Dyson.
 
The High School Orchestra, under the direction of Mrs. Eileen Miller, provided musical selections. Assistant Principal Mr. Zachary Tarnowski offered encouraging remarks, and passed out official certificates to these new inductees:
