What's happening in 7th and 8th grade tech classes?

What's been happening in Mr. Rezucha's 7th and 8th grade technology classes at RTS?
7th grade just completed a "Simple Machines" unit. Students followed up their "simple machine" research by presenting their findings to the class as a group, using a poster of their chosen machine during the presentation. Meanwhile, 8th grade technology has been spending time in the wood shop using hand tools and shop machines to create an Ikebana, a 600-year-old Japanese tradition of flower arrangement.
