The Susquehanna Valley High School Concert Band and Orchestra performed at the NYSSMA Major Organizations Festival at Owego Free Academy on May 16. Each group prepared three challenging pieces, which were judged by master educators. The ensembles were honored with a Silver award for the Concert Band and a Gold award for the Orchestra. Bravo musicians!

On June 6, the Concert Band and Orchestra will perform these works as part of the High School Concert in the SVHS auditorium at 6:30 PM. The concert will feature these groups and the Chorus, Select Choirs, Jazz Ensemble, Select Strings, and Percussion Ensemble. We invite our SV community to come enjoy this free night of music with us!
