Kick It for Cans a BIG Success!

We didn't let a few raindrops spoil our Inaugural Kick It for Cans event May 15 at Francis P. Donnelly Elementary School. 5th graders from FPD welcomed their counterparts from Brookside Elementary for a little friendly kickball competition - all with a very important purpose: to raise funds to support the Sabers Food Center, housed at Donnelly. We are so grateful to our wonderful sponsors for their amazing generosity! Because of them, Kick It for Cans raised more than $7,000! We thank Broome County District Attorney Paul Battisti for supporting the cause and taking part in our event, along with representatives from local law enforcement who spearheaded the fundraising event.
We thank our local television stations for some great coverage of the event:

If you, or someone you know in the SV District, need assistance from the Center, please contact Mrs. Stacey Stilloe, School Social Worker at Donnelly, at (607) 775-9149 to schedule a confidential appointment.
