FPD Principal Dr. Jill Rich is SAANYS Region 9 Elementary Administrator of the Year

On Wednesday, May 29, Dr. Jill Rich, Principal of Francis P. Donnelly Elementary School, was presented with the 2024 SAANYS (School Administrators Association of New York State) Region 9 Elementary Administrator of the Year Award. Dr. Rich was joined at the recognition ceremony by Superintendent of Schools Natalie Brubaker.

Guest readers at FPD

Francis P. Donnelly Elementary School welcomed a pair of guest readers March 19. Cornell Cooperative Extension's Sarah Atwood and Broome County Executive Jason Garnar visited our second grade classrooms to read the book "I Love Strawberries." Ms. Atwood brought along some snacks to share; students gave an enthusiastic thumbs up to the snack, which - of course - featured strawberries. Photos HERE.
