SV's LaBarre is WIVT Athlete of the Week

SV High School 9th grader Danica LaBarre has been very impressive on the softball field this season; impressive enough to be named WIVT's Athlete of the week! 
This was Danica's first year on Varsity and she's made herself at home behind the plate as the Sabers' catcher.
Danica's defensive stats: allowed only 11 stolen bases out of 39 attempts for an impressive .718 CS%; offensive stats:  batted .486 in conference, .429 overall, including 8 doubles, 4 triples, 18 RBI and 14 runs scored.

Hogan headed to the states!

The unstoppable SV phenom Brynn Hogan is headed to the NYS Track and Field Championships! Brynn finished third at the NYS Qualifier Meet at Union-Endicott High School May 31, which secured her a berth in the NYS Championships at Middletown HS June 9 and 10. This is the second straight year Brynn has qualified to represent the Sabers at the NYS Championships!  Read More
