A few important reminders

The final day of regular classes for students in grades 9-12 will be Thursday, June 13.  This will be an early dismissal at 11:30 for MS/HS students and 12:30 for elementary students.  Regents Exams will take place from June 14 through June 25.  The final day of classes for students in UPK through grade 8 will be Tuesday, June 18.  This will be a full day of classes.
• Brookside 5th Grade moving up ceremony: Monday, June 17 at 10:00 am (original date on district calendar was June 21)
Donnelly 5th Grade moving up ceremony: Tuesday, June 18 at 10:00 am (original date on district calendar was June 20)
• If your student plans on participating in a summer camp or program where a copy of their most recent physical or immunizations are needed, please contact their school's health office prior to the last day of the school.
• Speaking of physicals: we will offer physicals on Wednesday, August 7 from 8:00 - 3:00. Student athletes/parents can make appointments by calling Gayle Ditch at 607-775-9144
• We will be offering Music Camps this summer through our Summer Enrichment Program. The dates are different from our traditional summer enrichment. Band Camp for students going into Grades 5-8 will be July 29-August 1 from 9-11:30am: https://students.arbitersports.com/susquehanna-valley-central-school-district/band-camp

Southern Tier String Camp for students going into grades 5-12 and graduates will be from 9-11:30am for Novice and Intermediate Groups and 9am-12pm for Advanced groups: https://students.arbitersports.com/susquehanna-valley-central-school-district/southern-tier-string-camp

FPD Principal Dr. Jill Rich is SAANYS Region 9 Elementary Administrator of the Year

Donnelly Elementary School, was presented with the 2024 SAANYS (School Administrators Association of New York State) Region 9 Elementary Administrator of the Year Award. Dr. Rich was joined at the recognition ceremony by Superintendent of Schools Natalie Brubaker.

Thank you SV Voters!

By a vote of 300-52, Susquehanna Valley School District residents have approved the proposed 2024-2025 budget. Our bus purchase proposition was also approved 321-51. Elected to three-year terms on the Board of Education were Ryan Remza (268 votes), Timothy Strnatka (267 votes), and Annie Bensley (219 votes).
