The last day of school for Susquehanna Valley students in UPK through Grade 8 will be Wednesday, June 22.  This will be an 11:00am dismissal for students in grades 6-8 and a 12:00pm dismissal for students in UPK through grade 5.  Additionally, Brookside Elementary students and staff will not need to attend on Friday, May 27 as previously communicated.  A provision of Education Law does not require that day to be made up after being canceled due to April's snow storm and subsequent power outages.  [...click for more]

Susquehanna Valley students and teachers are putting teams together to compete in the upcoming Volley for Mental Health and Suicide Awareness Tournament on the SV football field. The May 25 tourney has a dual purpose: to have FUN, but also to inspire important conversations about mental health. Susquehanna Valley High School junior James O'Dell took the top spot in his category at the New York State SkillsUSA State Competition in late April at the NYS Fairgrounds, Syracuse, NY, and is headed to the nationals next month.

SV High School senior Patricia Roon recently competed in the NYSPHSAA State Bowling Championships as a member of the Section IV Girls All Star Composite Team. Trisha also managed to secure the team's Spirit Award! April 28, Trisha was joined by her mom and grandmother as she received the Spirit Award plaque from bowling coach Ray Lasky.
