On Sunday, September 29, 2015 dozens of Susquehanna Valley Staff along with a few family members, students and alumni participated in the first ever Sabers with Grit 5K mud obstacle challenge at Newbsanity (Newbsanity.com). GRIT: WHAT IT IS: The raw endurance, perseverance and passion that keep you going despite obstacles. Newbsanity provided 3+ miles of extreme terrain that included 25+ obstacles that required team work and grit. It was an event filled with hard work, team building and fun. Proceeds from the event were donated to S.V.’s Dollars for Scholars. Look for a future Sabers with Grit to take place again within the next year.
