How much do you love a grilled cheese sandwich?

Well, a group of students at Susquehanna Valley's Richard T. Stank Middle School love them so much, they went to great lengths - even circulating a petition - to get grilled cheese sandwiches added to the weekly menu. Aiden Ruffo, Isaac Webb, and Cooper Spencer (pictured at left with RTS Head Cook Melissa Bakus) gathered signatures from students and staff, and then put together a formal presentation highlighting the appeal of grilled cheese sandwiches.

And it WORKED!

The cafeteria staff and Food Services officials were so impressed by the students' efforts, they will be incorporating grilled cheese sandwiches into the menu, particularly on Thursdays.
