Superb showing for Sabers at Track and Field Championships
Brynn Hogan broke her own school record in the 800m run with a time of 2:20.17, which earned Brynn the Class C Championship in the event! Heidi Brusso, Morgan Hoffman, Brynn Hogan and Grace Gaffney also broke a school record with a time of 10:08.44 in the 4x800m relay.  The quad finished more than 26 seconds better than the 2nd place team, and in doing so also captured the Class C title.

Also impressive and noteworthy:  Johnny Cortese hit the provisional height (height necessary to move on to the NYS Qualifiers in the high jump. Myles Clement provisional time in the 1600m run, placing 4th out of 22 runners in the event. Morgan Hoffman and Grace Gaffney provisional time in the 400m dash, Hoffman placing 3rd overall. Anasia McCune was 6th in the 200m dash having earned provisional time previously in the event. Brynn Hogan hit automatic time (qualifying her for participation in the 2022 NYS Championships) 800m, 1500m. Automatic time was also reached by the girls 4x800m team!

Finally, many PR's (personal records) were earned by a number of our awesome SABER athletes. Congratulations to both our girls and boys teams and to our awesome SV coaches: Courtney Kerrick, Colin Staiger, Grace Tabeek and Mike Henderson.  Way to go!!
