Our third graders ended National Poetry Month with a small recitation outside on our playground. After learning about poets and poetry, including reading and writing poems all month, the students each memorized a poem to recite in front of an audience! Mrs. Coe, Mrs. Giblin, Mrs. Herceg and Mrs. McMahon were all so proud of their classes that we celebrated with popsicles and extra recess to make the day extra special!
