A look at more of the SV High School Class of 2023 top students
1. Justin Pencek: Named Susquehanna Valley’s Class of 2023 Valedictorian. Justin has consistently excelled in all areas of academic study. He is an active member of the school community, participating in multiple athletic teams and the National Honor Society, and is a member of the New Visions program.

2. Lauren Hannigan: Lauren has been named the Class of 2023 Salutatorian, and has proven to be a diligent and motivated student. She has participated in extracurricular and community activities, including volleyball and the National Honor Society, is the treasurer for the Chem-Free Prom Party, and is a member of the New Visions program this year.

3. Brody Connors: Brody has been a standout student in his academic courses. He has also been an active participant in athletics and community service while serving as a treasurer of the Class of 2023 and National Honor Society member.

4. Megan Ketchum: Megan has demonstrated exceptional critical thinking skills throughout her academic career. She is an accomplished artist, member of the National Honor Society and art club, and a leader in the community as a Junior Auxiliary member of the American Legion and she also volunteers at Animal Adventure.

5. Katie Leighton: Katie has shown dedication and excellence in all areas of study. She has played volleyball and tennis, and has been an active participant in several school clubs, including the National Honor Society.

6. Cassandra Crisman: Cassandra has demonstrated exceptional critical thinking skills throughout her academic career. She has also taken on leadership roles in several school clubs and organizations, including Captain of the varsity soccer team, President of student Council, Vice-President of the National Honor Society. She is also an active member of Mock Trial and Model UN and is participating in the New Visions program.

7. Sebastian MacNamee: Sebastian has excelled in all of his academic courses. He is also a three-season athlete, playing on the football, basketball, and baseball teams. In addition, he is a National Honor Society member, and participates in volunteer opportunities.

8. Mason Karns: Mason has been a dedicated and thoughtful student in all of his academic courses. His enthusiasm and drive shine, and he is an integral player in Sabers athletics on the soccer, basketball, and baseball teams. Mason was a recipient of a junior scholarship.
