The Susquehanna Valley CSD has launched our official Facebook page! We went live Thursday, December 1.
We recently offered a survey on our website, asking for input on ways we might improve the delivery of information to our stakeholders. We received 238 responses with some very good suggestions. There was overwhelming support for the prospect of linking our school district to social media. This is something we have been considering for some time, and our decision to proceed was based in part on the survey feedback.
We are excited to feature our students’ accomplishments on social media and share all of the wonderful things that are happening in our buildings with the community and our families. Using THIS FORM, you will be able to submit content for the Susquehanna Valley CSD Facebook Page, and share some of the great things going on in our school community. We fully expect that our school community will be respectful when engaging on social media and will practice good digital citizenship.
Please keep in mind that the Susquehanna Valley CSD reserves the right to remove from our official Facebook Page:
• Anything we deem abusive or personal attacks
• Material that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive, slanderous, hateful, or embarrassing to any other entity
• Third-party advertising
• Chain letters or spam
We also reserve the right to terminate involvement by users who post such content. The views and opinions expressed on the SVCSD Facebook page do not necessarily represent those of the district. Therefore, we cannot be held responsible for the accuracy or reliability of information posted by external parties.
