Meet SV's new Director of Special Services
It is with great excitement that I joined the Susquehanna Valley Central School District as the Director of Special Services in April.

Throughout my past 16 years in education, I have centered my work around supporting students with special education needs. I was a school speech-language pathologist at Harpursville for almost a decade before becoming an assistant principal at Broome-Tioga BOCES in the PALS program. As an assistant principal in PALS, I supported students with significant individualized education needs from 15 component school districts, including SV, for 6 years. My work ranged from student support and discipline, to work-experience programming, CSE coordination, and much more. I was honored to receive SAANYS Region 9's Assistant Principal of the Year in 2021.

I am proud to say that my professional work has centered around advocating, connecting, empowering, and supporting achievement in students so that they in turn can contribute back into their community. I am a firm believer in supporting students to find success through positive relationships with staff, families, and students. I look forward to being a part of the SV family and collaborating to support our Saber students.
