SV High's Jody Butts is a Hero Teacher!

Throughout the 2019-2020 school year, Equinox Broadcasting's Cool 106.7 FM has been shining a spotlight on teachers who go above and beyond, taking nominations from students, parents and school administrators for Teachers are Heroes recognition. February 11, Cool 106.7 personality and Susquehanna Valley High School alumnus Ray Scott surprised teacher Jody Butts in her classroom with balloons and gifts. WATCH THE VIDEO here. Mrs. Butts had been nominated multiple times by students and administrators and selected as January's Teachers are Heroes recipient. Mrs. Butts was truly surprised and grateful to be nominated by students and awarded the honor along with some nice gifts. Joining Ray Scott in Mrs. Butts' classroom were fellow teacher Mrs. Potter, Principal Charles Hutchinson and Superintendent of Schools Roland Doig. Pictures HERE.
