Having these students at SV is an HONOR
The student members of the Susquehanna Valley chapter of the National Honor Society volunteer their time throughout the year at the Mobile Food Pantry held at the Endwell United Methodist Church. This is an amazing community service that the students always look forward to. Under the guidance of NHS Advisors Jody Butts and Laura Retzlaff, the students get right to work, unloading the food truck, organizing the donations, helping people carry their food and cleaning up the site. They are a huge help to both the church and the Food Bank. "Laura and I are so proud of their positive attitude and willingness to serve those less fortunate," said Mrs. Butts. "NHS also made a monetary donation to the Food Bank's Endwell site to help them further their work in the community."
