Susquehanna Valley's Richard T. Stank Middle School hosted an inclusive sports training program in its physical education classes Thursday and Friday, January 30 and 31. The group Move Along, Inc. teaches awareness and inclusion by offering able-bodied students the opportunity to go through a series of basketball drills while seated in a wheelchair, and then play wheelchair basketball games. Students also navigated a course around the gym using hand cycles. PHOTOS HERE

Inclusive Sports Training
Our ‘Similarity / Inclusive Sports Training’ program, is focused on building up the student’s awareness of available adaptive sports for those individuals with mobility issues in an inclusive setting.  These programs exist to help integrate both able-bodied and disabled individuals into inclusive sports opportunities.  One of our sayings here at Move Along is…

You don’t have to be able-bodied to play, and you don’t have to have a disability to play accessible sports!  Come to experience the newest sports in town!

Cycling
Our family recreational cycling is a fun activity for the whole family. This program is for individuals with or without physical disabilities who want to enjoy riding a bike again with family and friends.  Click here to learn more about our cycling program.
