Librarians, students spotlighted in BOCES publication
There's a lot of good news in the February 2019 edition of Broome-Tioga BOCES' Biblio-Files. In addition to a story about SV High School Library Media Specialist Pat Westgate's "Saber All School Book Club", the publication spotlights Richard T. Stank MS Librarian Rita Foran's Writer's Workshop. During Black History Month, 7th graders were asked to write an essay explaining why an influential African American should be featured on a postage stamp. Ms. Foran submitted Lindsey Trotter's WINNING ESSAY AND DESIGN to the U.S. Postal Service, which will use it to produce a sheet of custom postage stamps.
