The Annual High School Emerging Artist competition, sponsored by the Fine Arts Society of the Southern Tier, combined this year with The Broome County Arts Council’s Young At Art Exhibition. The competition was open to all high schools in Broome County, with 11 districts participating. The exhibition was judged by professional artists, including Professor Alexandra Davis of Binghamton University’s Department of Art and Design, Orazio Salati of Orazio Salati Studio and Gallery, and Cyrena Summers.

At an April 13 awards ceremony, participants received certificates from the Broome County Arts Council and winners received ribbons and gift certificates from FASST. There's still time to see the art pieces! The combined show runs the month of April 2022 in the Oakdale Mall in the former Zales Center Court Area.
