RTS students are published authors

Susquehanna Valley's Richard T. Stank Middle School now boasts published authors! During the 2019-20 school year, students in Rita Foran's 7th Grade Writer's Workshop entered a challenge by Young Writers to create a 100 word mini saga on the topic of contamination. RTS Middle School students submitted their sagas to Young Writers, and each student received a certificate. Some students (and their parents) gave their permission to have their sagas published and, after many months of waiting, the school finally received a copy of the book in which these sagas were published. This book is now part of the RTS Library collection.
