Star Saber Logan Haskell signs with Binghamton-U
From a Saber to a Bearcat. That's the path for SV star athlete Logan Haskell. When Logan wraps up his academic and athletic career at Susquehanna Valley, he'll be heading up the Vestal Parkway to attend Binghamton University and playing for its Division I baseball team. With a big group of supporters looking on, Logan made it official November 13, signing his national letter of intent for Binghamton-U. (PHOTOS HERE)

"It's a hometown school. Great campus, I love the coaches there. The first time I went there, I really felt the connection," Haskell told WBNG's Dan Conklin. (SEE THE STORY HERE)

While this three-sport captain's most recent high profile accomplishments were on the gridiron - leading the Sabers to their second consecutive Class C State Championship, earning MVP in the title game, NYS Player of the Year honors, among others - his focus is on baseball, where he earned Section 4 All Conference honors at shortstop in 2019. As a Saber, he amassed a career batting average of .468, and fielding percentage of .985. He also put up some big numbers in the classroom, earning a GPA of 97.5 - good for top ten percent in his class - and High Honor Roll grades 9-12!
