The Middle School French classes participated in Day 1 of a Pétanque tournament on Friday, September 27. Pétanque is a very common game to see in France and many other Francophone Countries. It is played by teams consisting of one, two, or three players, and the area on which it is played is called a terrain. In pétanque, players throw while standing in a circle (cercle).
The students will be finishing their tournament this month... Many thanks to French teacher Jes Wright for sharing her photos of Day 1!
