Senior Night for Boys Swimming/Diving

Congratulations to Brayden Landers, Ben Pauline, Xander Remza, Acaydian Salisbury, and Elijah Valentine! These Class of 2025 Boys Swimming & Diving team members were applauded during their Senior Night Ceremony on January 28, 2025, before their meet against Chenango Forks. 

In addition to swimming, Brayden has participated in bowling, golf and track during his SV High School career. His favorite sports memory is achieving his personal best in the 100 - under 1 minute, 30 seconds! Brayden thanks his parents and coaches for always encouraging him to do his best.

Ben is a multitasker for the Sabers, swimming the 100 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle relay, and the 200 medley! He has also been on the SV soccer and track teams. His favorite sports memory of teammate Acaydian Salisbury breaking the school's 100-breaststroke record. Ben thanks his coaches for helping and encouraging him and his parents for all their support.

Xander is a strong competitor in the 200 medley relay, the 200 individual medley, 100 breaststroke, and the 200 freestyle relay. He has also been a member of the golf and tennis teams. Xander's favorite memories are the late-night stops for food. He thanks Coaches Bryla and Klym for helping him improve over the years, and his parents and other relatives for supporting him and his teammates. 

Acaydian's accomplishments include breaking the school's breaststroke record and making the podium at invitationals this year. He swims the freestyle and breaststroke for the Sabers and has also been part of the track & field team. Acaydian's favorite sports memory is competing at invitationals and claiming a spot on the podium. He thanks his Grandma for encouraging him to join the swim team and Coach Bryla for helping him become a better simmer. 

A member of the Saber's swim team for six years (two modified and four varsity), Elijah competes in the 200-, 400-, and 500-yard relays. His favorite sports memory is giving the "Great Speech of Elmira" at the beginning of the Elmira Invitational last year. Elijah thanks his coaches for everything they have done for him and the team. He also thanks his parents for their support through his swimming career, and especially for all that purple Powerade!

We wish Brayden, Ben, Xander, Acaydian, and Elijah a wonderful senior year and all the best after graduation!
