High School Sabers join Chalk the Walk 2024

Encouraging discussions around mental health awareness, Broome County SAFE's (Suicide Awareness For Everyone coalition) fifth annual Chalk the Walk event was September 9 - 13, 2024. Susquehanna Valley High School students participated during their lunch periods on Friday, September 13, decorating the walk outside the school's gymnasium entrance with positive messages and images.

Events like Chalk the Walk are designed to destigmatize talking about mental health, as well as encourage students to think about positive ways to support others.
