SV High School hosted 9th grade orientation August 31, welcoming our newest students and their parents. Nearly 80 students and families attended, with students receiving their Chromebooks, schedules, important documents, and club information, parents learning how to use the Powerschool Parent Portal, and families enjoying ice cream and lawn games in the courtyard. [...click for more]

Meet Mr. Joel Carle, Susquehanna Valley High School's new Assistant Principal! Joel is a graduate of the Binghamton University Educational Leadership program and the SUNY Fredonia School of Music. Prior to his appointment as Assistant Principal of SV High School, Joel taught music for 13 years to all ages. During his time as a music educator, Joel helped build a nationally recognized, award-winning music program, presented at multiple state and regional conferences, and was published in School Band & Orchestra magazine. Joel is determined to continue to innovate in the field of education as a building leader at Susquehanna Valley. Whenever a student is absent from school, coming in late or leaving early, they need bring an excuse into the high school Assistant Principal’s office. In the excuse, include the reason for absence (such as doctor’s appointment) and the exact date(s) of absence. Also, please state in the note if a person other than a parent is picking your child up from school. Include that other person’s name.
