Take part in our Summer Reading program to reap all of these benefits. The goal is to read 4 to 6 books over the break. You should reach this mark if you aim to read a little every day. Read 1st Book:  receive an "SV Summer Reading 2021 " pinback button  (1st in a series; collect them all!)


Read 2nd Book:    receive one entry into a drawing to win prize baskets (including B&N and other gift certificates)

Read 3rd, 4th, 5th, & 6th Books:   receive additional entries to win prize baskets (limit 5 prize entries per student)

Earn free books and candy. Be entered into prize drawings. Pick up "grab-n-go" Craft Bags. Try to survive the "Haunted Library Digital Escape Room." See website for details.

2. N.Y.S. Summer Reading 2021 Teen Video Challenge:

Create a public services announcement-type video to promote reading. 5 winners will receive $200.
