SV Homecoming 2016
Susquehanna Valley capped off a weeklong celebration of all things Sabers with Homecoming 2016. From September 26-30, SV High School got pumped up in anticipation of Homecoming with the annual SPIRIT WEEK festivities, including a succession of dress-up days, ranging from Red, White and Blue Day to Decades Day, with students and staff going all out to get involved in the fashion fun. Spirit Week was capped off with a rousing PEP RALLY in the high school gymnasium. The October 1 Homecoming celebration began with the annual HOMECOMING PARADE down Conklin Road. Hundreds lined the road to watch the procession. It all led to the SV High School football field, for a FOOTBALL showdown with Chenango Forks. At halftime of the game, it was time to behold the Homecoming Court and crown this year's HOMECOMING KING AND QUEEN, Jeff Correll and Jessica Hawley.
