Homecoming 2018
Weather-wise, October 20 was not your textbook Homecoming Day. But those of us who live in Saber Country never let a little rain stand in the way of a celebration! The rain began and ended simultaneously with the beginning and end of the HOMECOMING PARADE, so marchers dodged the drops along a route lined with umbrella-clutching spectators. The rest of the day was cool but dry, and attendees were treated to all the things that make Sabers Homecoming so special: SENIOR PARENT RECOGNITION FOR VARSITY FOOTBALL AND CHEERLEADING, the introduction of the HOMECOMING COURT and the crowning of King Richard Bedosky and Queen Ruth Yingling; the introduction of this year's Inductees to the SV WALL OF FAME - Garrett Morabito, Sheril Terboss and Courtney Ward; and the undefeated Sabers varsity football team's dominant 66-0 PERFORMANCE over Whitney Point.
