You know all the names: Gomez, Morticia, Fester, Grandma, Wednesday, Pugsley and Lurch (and of course, Spot - the dragon under the stairs). But you've never seen them like this before...in a musical comedy that explores how the family's values and traditions evolve in changing times. Little Wednesday - that irresistible bundle of malice known for making Pugsley's life miserable - has grown up and has fallen in love! The problem? The young man is from a "normal" (non-Addams) family from Ohio. It will be a test for BOTH families as love blooms between the macabre side of the tracks and the middle America side. The young lovers are just hoping for "one normal night" when the Addams host the Beinekes. But a traditional Addams family game provides a comical turning point that promises to open everyone's eyes to a different way of thinking. The goings-on will bring back fond memories for theater-goers who grew up watching the popular Addams Family television show, and will introduce newcomers to a family where macabre is ordinary and goulishness is next to hilarity. Along the way, we may just see that one way to find illumination is to run to the darkness! PHOTOS FROM FEBRUARY 8 REHEARSAL HERE.
The show is directed by Shirley Goodman. Music Director and Pit Conductor is Jenn Perkins. Choreography by Kaylea Lockwood.
