Four Sabers in Upstate/Downstate Classic
It was upstate New York's best high school football players versus their downstate counterparts Sunday, June 14 at Ithaca College. With only 50 players selected from all over upstate NY, it's a huge honor that four of those 50 are from Susquehanna Valley! Jake Hawley, Adam Clark, Bruce Canady and Lain Zembek were chosen for the 2015 NYSHSFCA Senior All-Star Game, played at IC's Butterfield Stadium. And SV's quartet can now added another win to their growing list, as upstate trounced downstate 31-7.
