There are some great careers out there in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) fields, and a host of co-sponsors of a special evening want to help students chart a path to finding one.
The STEAM Pathways Evening will be held Thursday, March 10, 2016, 4:30-7:00 p.m. in the Binghamton University Innovative Technologies Complex, 85 Murray Hill Road, Vestal. There will be representatives on hand from businesses that employ people in these fields, along with Binghamton University and SUNY-Broome students and college advisors.
Students in grades 7-12, their parents and educators are invited to learn what career opportunities exist in STEAM fields and the paths they'll need to follow to secure one.
