National Honor Society spreads some joy in Conklin

On November 29, N. H. S. hosted an ice cream social, serving and sharing ice cream sundaes with the residents. Each of the students spoke to the residents, sharing their interests and extra-curricular activities and their college plans. Robert Strick, S.V. Board of Education President, addressed the residents and students and thanked the district for sharing their time and embracing these types of community outreach efforts. National Honor Society advisors Laura Mecca-Retzlaff and Jody Butts were assisted in planning the ice cream social by Toni Strick, Bob's wife and manager of the housing complex.
