Sus Valley artists shine at FASST

On March 14, several SV High School students took home ribbons from the “Young at Art” show and competition presented by the Fine Arts Society of the Southern Tier (FASST). Over 125 local High School students participated in this year’s show, with only 22 awards given out.

SV students who were honored this year were:

Andrew Gaffney - 1st place in the Mixed Media category for The Lonesome Wanderer
Sophia Kilmer - 2nd place in the Painting category, for Falling Apart
Kelly Cady - 3rd place in the Sculpture category, for Blue Armadillo

Other SV students whose work were also selected for inclusion to the show:
Danielle Duke, Sophia Pappas, Dominick Russell, and Canyi Zuo. 

The students artwork will remain on display until March 30, 2018 at the FASST Oakdale Mall gallery (formerly Gymboree).
