Dozens of middle school singers and musicians treated a standing room only audience to sounds of the season as Susquehanna Valley's holiday concert series got underway December 5 in the S.V. High School auditorium. The RICHARD T. STANK MIDDLE SCHOOL HOLIDAY CONCERT featured performances from the 7th and 8th Grade Band, 6th Grade Chorus, Orchestra, Select Choir, 6th Grade Band, Jazz Ensemble and the 7th and 8th Grade Chorus.

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund hosted a number of special ceremonies in November to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the completion of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. Padraig "Paddy" Lupole, a formidable force and leader on the mat with the Susquehanna Valley Sabers varsity wrestling team, has made his post-Saber plans official.
