SV Lessons Get to the Heart of the Matter 

At Susquehanna Valley High School, students in Sharon Repp's science classes recently received some hands-on lessons in the human circulatory system.  Mrs. Repp and emergency medical trainer (and SV attendance officer) John Dancesia joined forces February 4–8 on a series of lessons that took students on a journey through veins, hearts and arteries.  The weeklong unit began with dissection of donated deer, sheep and caribou hearts, and concluded with CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) training.
