The American Association of Teachers of French has selected Susquehanna Valley High School senior James Bedrin for a 2007-08 Outstanding Senior in French Award. Bedrin was nominated by SV High School French teacher Sharon Rowe. Bedrin has studied French for five years, has competed in the National French Contest, has studied abroad, is a past officer of the French Club and is a member of the National French Honor Society.

The AATF sent a certificate and medal, which SV High School Principal David Daniels presented to Bedrin Wednesday, February 27, 2008.
