Forty-four Richard T. Stank Middle School students are now members of the National Junior Honor Society. They were inducted November 6 in a one hour ceremony featuring music, inspirational messages and the awarding of certificates. This year's officers of the SV Chapter, Alex Murphy, Shaneka Rodriguez, Emilie Hogan and Troy Palmer were joined by Erika Drake in lighting the ceremonial induction candles signifying the tenets of National Junior Honor Society membership: scholarship, citizenship, service, leadership and character. This year's guest speaker was Mrs. Natalie Brubaker, RTS Middle School Assistant Principal. Co-Advisors are Mr. Holmberg and Ms. Sherman. The new inductees are: Stephanie Allen, Elizabeth Beck, Bekka Bieber, Cameron Black, Laura Chong, Perri Clifford, Alexa Cohn, Aaron Cornish, Kali Cornwell, Selena Deeley, Gabriella DeSanctis, Melanie Eldred, Tianna Katusha, Sara Krum, Jacob LaBarre, Kaylyn LaBarre, Vincent LaMantia, Andy Lee, Beth Lindemann, Sarah Lundy, Colin Manchester, Emily Matthews, Natalie Mezzadonna, Michael Miller, Elijah Nichols, Michael Rood, Maura Sheehan, Austin Simon, Alex Stockton, Michelle Sturckler, Brendan Telfer, Joseph Toman, Stephanie Waite, Kelly Watson, Crystal Whistle, Marisa Whitney, Emily Williams, Marc Yezzi, Haylee Donnelly, Brady Hadlick, Derek Hawkins, Katie Kaminsky, Cassie Tompkins and Nicholas Vascello.
