MINUTES of the
Facilities Advisory Committee
Meeting June 16, 2009

Present are: Ed Bernhauer and Bob Costello (BCK), Jack Bell, Jerry Derrick, Roland Doig, Joe Kolanda, Jim Marean, Chris Miller, Ralph Schuldt, Gerardo Tagliaferri, Janice Young.

• Mr. Bernhauer and Mr. Costello provide Capital Improvements Project update

• Timetable reviewed: what work has been done since resident approval of project in December 2008

• We are on target for submission of plans to NYS Education Department in October/November

• District will be updating Building Condition Survey during 2009-10 school year in development of five-year plan, due to NYSED in fall of 2010.

• We are currently in Capital Improvements Project Phase I; there is discussion on Phase II

• Review of items not in scope of Phase I

• BCK will provide update at next FAC meeting; group will meet second monday of each month, 6:00 p.m., starting in September 2009 in Board of Education room
