Purpose and focus of the Facilities Committee was discussed to ensure alignment with Interim Superintendent

Discussion on Cedarhurst status

Building is relatively empty
o
Some areas utilized for storage by Donnelly, Brookside, Athletic Dept.
o
Focus on generating revenue
o
Central Distribution
o
Gerry Abbey will sign Appraisal Contract and be contact person
o
Work with deadlines needed by Head Start (March 2007)

Census needed by Budget and Facilities committees – need to approach BoE again about a census

Feasibility study needed for district to move forward. This information would be unbiased and give insight for EXCEL aid utilization.

Fiscal Advisors to be contacted about Feasibility Study insight.

Upcoming meetings: January 29, February 26, starting in March – 3rd Monday of the month. All meetings 6:30-8:30 pm in BoE room.
